Quotes

““It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” Joel 2:28-29 NASB1995

“Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.” ~ Psalm 66:16

“All happenings, great and small, are parables whereby God speaks. The art of life is to get the message. To see all that is offered us at the windows of the soul, and to reach out and receive what is offered, this is the art of living.” ~ Malcolm Muggeridge

“This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,” ~ I Timothy 1:18 NKJV

“This life’s dim windows of the soul distorts the heavens from pole to pole and leads you to believe a lie when you see with, not through, the eye.” ~ William Blake

“You see,” said Aslan. “They will not let us help them. They have chosen cunning instead of belief. Their prison is only in their own minds, yet they are in that prison; and so afraid of being taken in that they cannot be taken out.” ~ C.S. Lewis, The Last Battle

“The symbolist leaves the given to find that which is more real. To put the difference in another way, for the symbolist it is we who are the allegory. We are the “frigid personifications”; the heavens above us are the “shadowy abstractions”; the world which we mistake for reality is the flat outline of that which elsewhere veritably is all the round of its unimaginable dimensions.” ~ C. S. Lewis, The Allegory of Love, chap. II.I, para. 2, p. 45.

“We—or at least I—shall not be able to adore God on the highest occasions if we have learned no habit of doing so on the lowest. At best, our faith and reason will tell us that He is adorable, but we shall not have found Him so, not have “tasted and seen.” Any patch of sunlight in a wood will show you something about the sun which you could never get from reading books on astronomy. These pure and spontaneous pleasures are “patches of Godlight” in the woods of our experience.” ~ C.S. Lewis, Letters to Malcolm: Chiefly on Prayer, chap. 17, para. 13, p. 91. (taken from, The Quotable Lewis ~ Jerry Root

“The value of the cleansed imagination in the sphere of religion lies in its power to perceive in natural things shadows of things spiritual. A purified and Spirit-controlled imagination is the sacred gift of seeing—the ability to peer beyond the veil and gaze with astonished wonder upon the beauties and mysteries of things holy and eternal. The stodgy pedestrian mind does no credit to Christianity!” ~ A.W. Tozer

“Say not my soul, From whence can God relieve my care?’ Remember that Omnipotence has servants everywhere. His method is sublime, his heart profoundly kind, God never is before his time, and never is behind.” ~ C. H. Spurgeon

“The message of the Kingdom of God is about authority—namely, the authority of Christ the King. The authority of Christ is absolute, and His followers recognize and honor this fact.” ~ Steve Gregg,  Empire of the Risen Son (vol. 1 pg. 120 Kindle version)

Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” JOHN 20:29 NASB

The Lord’s Prayer

“Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. ‘ Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. ‘Give us this day our daily bread. ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. ’ “For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses.” ~ Jesus (to His disciples)

Which will He send to you?

I saw the Lord’s arm outstretched. (this was another visual)

And upon it…a hawk, and a dove. Which will He send to you? Will you have peace with Him.

Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” ~ Jesus

Will He send the hawk?…or…will He send the Dove? Seek peace with the Lord, ask of
Him.

2 Peter 3:3 – 18
3)”Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking,
following after their own lusts, 4)and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For
ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of
creation.” 5) For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of
God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water,
6) through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. 7) But
by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day
of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8) But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is
like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9) The Lord is not slow about
His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to
perish but for all to come to repentance.

A New Heaven and Earth
10) But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away
with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its
works will be burned up.

11) Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you
to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12) looking for and hastening the coming of the day
of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements
will melt with intense heat! 13) But according to His promise we are looking for new
heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. 14) Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in
peace, spotless and blameless, 15) and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just
16) as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you,
as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard
to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the
1Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17) You therefore, beloved, knowing this
beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of
unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and
knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the
day of eternity. Amen.”

…and I saw a bird who was a friend, in the air, watching an angel with a trumpet
This was another visual. His friends keep His commandments (that is their aim) and they do thus…

John 15:14
“You are My friends if you do what I command you.” ~ Jesus https://bible.com/bible/100/jhn.15.14.NASB1995

Ephesians 2:10
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared
beforehand so that we would walk in them.” https://bible.com/bible/100/eph.2.10.NASB1995

Godspeed and grace to you I pray.
