The Evergreen branch

11-10-19 Su. 10:58am: this dream coming to mind since yesterday…(this is the 100th note of this notebook)…

• And along with the meditation… “It cannot fail.” (a still small voice, an inner speaking).

Dream: of 11-27-06:

• I was standing before a person with the appearance of a fool*. A three foot tall court jester type in comical attire.
• The jester then scooped up some earth with his hands and formed it into something of a mannequin.
• The fool had then strings attached to the mannequin’s limbs, and manipulated it and did obscene things with it, showing me what he could do.
• Then I bent down and scooped up some earth and formed with it an evergreen branch.¹

1. A tree, shrub, or plant having foliage that persists and remains green throughout the year.

2. evergreens Twigs or branches of evergreen plants used as decoration.

3. Something that remains perennially fresh, interesting, or well liked.

Branch n. definition:

c. A division of a family, categorized by descent from a particular ancestor.

• From the onset of this dream I have taken the evergreen branch to be a metaphor for a branch of the Church…
• A branch of the Father’s family, of Christ (The Kingdom of God).
• Lord, the enemy is about, keep me from foolishness…amen and praise God!
