Pg. 65: Sin, at the door

Sin, at the door

Sin, at the door:

A dream of the night (2008′-10′?).

  • I was standing in a lit upper room at the head of a darkened back stairwell.
  • And I noticed an adult male with a dark countenance standing at the entry to the upper room. (I believe this was the upper room of the Townhouse dream Pg. 28).
  • The man was evil so I immediately engaged him and a fight ensued…
  • He had a bladed weapon, a knife.
  • I also had a bladed weapon, a deer antler branch, where each prong, 4 or 5, was tipped with a metal blade.
  • It was a hard vicious fight where each of us was severely wounded.
  • Then he turned and left back down the stairs.

Thoughts:

  • The one coming up the back way was the enemy, Satan, or a personification of sin.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. John 10:1 NKJV

  • The separate blades of the antler weapon are Bible verses…words of God.
  • The enemy’s blade, sin?

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 15:56-57 NKJV

If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.”  GENESIS 4:7 NASB

Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 NASB2020
